Gluten & MSG Free Pork Crackling with baked apple purée

Ingredients:

  • 2 Bramley apples
  • 1 Granny Smith apple

Method

Place the apples on a non-stick baking mat and cook in the oven for 25-35 minutes, or until cooked and tender. Transfer to a liquidiser, blitz until smooth and pass through a fine choinois.

Serve 50g per serving The Real Pork Crackling Co Pork Crackling with the apple purée in a small bowl alongside.

Gluten & MSG Free Turkey Breast coated with Pork Scratchings

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg white
  • 4 boneless, skinless free-range turkey breasts (serves 4)
  • 1 packet (50g) The Real Pork Crackling Co Pork Scratchings

Method

  • Heat grill to medium and line the grill pan with foil.
  • Beat the egg white on a plate with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Crush the pork scratchings in a tea towel.
  • Dip the turkey first in egg white, then the crushed pork scratchings.
  • Grill the coated turkey for 10-12 mins, turning once until browned and crisp.
